The collection contains Brown's college scrapbook, correspondence, a notebook, and a file of printed materials. The scrapbook contains photographs and notes about the car trip to Mineral Wells, letters, programs, photographs of campus scenes, and information on the controversy over the firing of the editor of the Davidson College Magazine in 1926. The correspondence includes letters written at Union Theological Seminary. The notebook has reading lists and outlines. The printed materials file contains college booklets, postcards from Richmond, Virginia, invitations, and newspaper clippings.
